Private On-Boarding Class

Session Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
Session Price: $500 
The Basic Reflex On-Boarding is a course designed for those who have little to no prior experience in boxing, or for those who are looking to sharpen up their fundamentals. Students will learn the most basic principles, skills and rules of boxing in a private setting, ensuring that fundamental techniques are learned correctly and thoroughly from the outset (avoiding future injuries or regressive learning) at the student's own pace and learning style.
This course is extremely popular with beginners, as it provides students with a base level of knowledge, understanding and technique to take into group classes and to continue building on!  

Trial Group Class

Session Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
the Trial Group Class is for first-time students to get a feel for the Basic Reflex teaching style, group class structure, and to pick up some fundamental boxing skills, techniques, rules and principles - all within a safe, fun and supportive environment!

Surrounded only by fellow beginners and first-time students of Basic Reflex, the Trial Group Class focuses on teaching the very basic elements of boxing correctly and thoroughly (avoiding future injuries or regressive learning), so that students can continue building on these fundamental skills in our regular group sessions!
*Newcomers are also encouraged to take our private On-Boarding class prior to attending group classes to learn some basic skills and techniques, as group classes are aimed at teaching progressively harder moves.

Fundamentals of Boxing

Session Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
Our mixed-gender, fundamental group classes are perfect for beginners, or those who have had some prior experience in boxing. As well as learning fundamental punches, footwork, and defences, you will train your agility, co-ordination, reflexes, strength, and cardiovascular fitness. Over time, you will also notice a significant improvement in your patience, focus, determination, self-discipline and overall wellbeing.
*Newcomers are encouraged to take our private On-Boarding class prior to attending group classes to learn some basic skills and techniques, as group classes are aimed at teaching progressively harder moves.

Intermediate Boxing

Session Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
Our mixed-gender, intermediate group classes are for those who have graduated from our fundamentals program, or who have had a significant amount of boxing experience in the past. Here, you will learn to put your skills, techniques and training to the test through challenging drills, pad-work exercises, as well as sparring sessions. At the same time, you will continue to build upon your agility, speed, strength, and endurance. 
*Please consult with our trainers prior to booking into our intermediate class, as they may need to assess your level.

Introduction to Sparring

Session Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
A class dedicated to teaching beginners the fundamentals of sparring in a safe, controlled environment. Focus will be on taking all the skills and techniques learned in our Fundamentals Class, breaking them down, and applying them to a real-life scenario, as well as on learning the appropriate sparring etiquette.

Intermediate Sparring (Invitation Only)

Session Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
Intermediate Sparring:Put your skills to the test in our Intermediate Sparring Class, where you will have the opportunity to use more advanced skills and techniques against fellow classmates in a safe, controlled environment. Focus will be on in-depth technique break-down, footwork, defensive manoeuvres, complex combinations, and counter-attacks.
*Please note that our Intermediate Sparring sessions are invitation only, as they require students to have a certain skill level and previous experience in sparring.

Youth Classes

Session Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes)
Our youth classes are aimed at young adults, aged 14 to 17, who are interested in learning the art of boxing in a safe and fun environment. Students learn fundamental boxing skills and techniques, whilst improving their agility, co-ordination, strength, and overall fitness. Most importantly, youth classes aim to expel the stereotype of boxing as a violent contact sport. Students are reminded of the ethical and moral principles behind learning boxing as a sport, as well as the  various aspects of self-improvement it promotes: patience, determination, dedication, emotional control, focus, and self-awareness.
